Outline of Research and Development Proposals
In the current optical quantum computer, most of the squeezed light is generated using an optical parametric oscillator with a resonator structure, but in this case, the bandwidth of the squeezed light is limited to a few hundred MHz of the resonator bandwidth. The bandwidth of the squeezed light corresponds with the clock frequency of conventional computers, we aim to achieve a bandwidth of 10 THz (10% of the optical carrier frequency), and to realize a waveguide optical parametric amplifier equipped with no resonator structures.
